Furthering Ecumenical Cooperation within Leicester and Leicestershire

In 2002 a link was established between Churches Together in Leicestershire and the Trichy Diocese of the Church of South India. This is an active link with numerous exchange visits and responsive prayer. Concerns include the Boxing Day tsunami of 2003, unfair trade practises on the tea estates, HIV/Aids and wider social justice issues with respect to the Dalits.

If you are interested please request a preacher/speaker for a Sunday service or a mid week meeting. A set of display panels and copies of a printed information leaflet are available on request.

'The management of the Trichy Link is through an ecumenical Exec. Group which meets 4 times a year, usually at the Vicarage Billesdon. We are supported by many friends and members involved with  Churches Together in Leicestershire.
